3DXTech ezPC™ Polycarbonate Filament
Exceptional thermal and mechanical properties combined with ease of printing!
It is a pleasure to print ezPC™! Designed specifically for 3D printing functional prototypes and end-use parts, this polymer has excellent performance characteristics. The formulation allows for easy printing while providing exceptional mechanical and thermal properties.
When PLA, PETG, or ABS is not an option, ezPC™ Polycarbonate is an excellent choice. Compared to Ultem or PEEK, this is an excellent performance bridge between these lower performance materials.
Manufacturers recommended settings:
• Hot end: 255-275 Degrees
• Heated Bed: 90-100
• Bed Prep: Dimafix
• Nozzle: No specific nozzle requirements
• Layer Height: No specific layer height requirements
• Drying Specs: 80 degrees for 4 hours
• Support: Our X1 water soluble support works great to create complex parts.
Our finding so far while printing on the Creatbot F430 is that we can achieve good adhesion with Dimafix on a Carbon Fiber build plate. Filament requires more spring tension than normal due to the hardness of the filament which can cause slipping. Higher printing temperature of 275 degrees works well with 100 degrees on the bed. Mostly it is a very easy to print material.
