3Design’s YouTube Channel
Our YouTube channel was created with the beginner 3D printer user in mind. We provide 3D printer tutorials, 3D printer reviews and a range of other content to showcase some of the 3D models we make in our studio. Our tutorials demonstrate how to complete basic pre-printing tasks, including how to load and unload filament on the variety of different 3D printers that we stock.
The development of our channel has seen us include more in-depth tutorials that we believe can help 3D printer users get the best out of their machines and 3D models. We have a video that shows people how they can make their own ABS juice, which is used to keep prints flat on the bed plate during printing. Along with the video, we list the step-by-step process in the description bar for your convenience. We also have a tutorial on how to print a Marvin robot. This is an easy to follow video which starts right from configuring the settings of your 3D file to watching the robot come to life, making it perfect for those who are new to 3D printing.
Our reviews are done by our technical director Chad Vorwerk, who explains not only how the 3D printer works but how its features contribute to a positive user experience. These reviews are short and to the point, so you get all the information you need without the lengthy time spent researching what 3D printer to buy. If you’re interested in watching 3D models bring printed, we have you covered with that as well. From a bright pink Eiffel Tower to a scaled model of a house roof, 3Design aims to show you the scope of what 3D printing can do.
