The Cubicon Single 3D printeris the first Korean printer to have a replaceable extruder. An extruder is a critical component as its fuses and constructs the filament. When you want to use a new type of filament, simply exchange the extruder. Should the nozzle become blocked all you need to do is remove the part that is causing the issue. This makes your printing experience run a smoothly as possible.
When using FFF printers, it is helpful to understand how temperature circulation can impact the products made. Because this printer is designed to melt material, the surrounding environment can impact the quality of the finished product. The Cubicon single is equipped with convection feature, which ensures the temperature within the printer remains stable. This features can also lower the temperature inside the printer once printing is finished to reflect the outside temperature, ensuring user safety.
Cubicon Single 3D printer printing quality is heavily determined by the platform for printing models and its distance from the nozzle and the levelling of the heat bed. The auto levelling feature of the Cubicon Single means that unlike previous FFF printers, the heat bed level does not need manual adjusting. This automated function means that the space between the nozzle and heat bed is always at the optimal distance. The Cubicon Single has a filament malfunction detection feature which will automatically stop the printer if your run out of filament during printing. It will ask you to check what is causing the filament issues, and once resolved will continue to print.
Unlike traditional FFF-type printers, the Cubicon single is equipped to use both PLA and ABS filament. Conventional printers use PLA exclusively because they cannot control model contraction and the release of particles when melting ABS. The unique features of the Cubicon including the auto levelling function, clean filters and convection feature means that both types of filaments can be used without complications.
