The CreatBot DE 3D printer has a build size of 400mm x 300mm x 300mm and has a heavy-duty steel frame. This is a commercial grade FFF printer which is user-friendly, making it perfect to use in a range of environments including in the office, classroom or at home. For the past decade, CreatBot has been manufacturing printers which they supply to over 20 countries. They are internationally recognised as producing some of the most solid and high-quality 3D desktop printers in the industry.
The CreatBot DE’s large build size equates to a build volume of 36 litres. It works at high-speed without compromising on its 0.04mm print resolution. This printer is cost-efficient and is under half the price of its industrial-sized competitors. It has dual print heads and its chamber is semi-enclosed with see through walls so you can watch your 3D models being printed. The Bowden style extruder’s stepper motors are placed at the back of the printer which means the print head is lightweight, allowing the printer to operate at high speeds. This machine does not limit your creativity and is suitable for making objects for production work, making fixtures and jigs, creating sculptures and making architectural models.
No filament detection The filament detection feature works by automatically pausing the printing process when the printer runs out of filament. The platform will lower and retract the filament and beep for 20 seconds.
Continue to print when power outage is restored Should a power outage occur, the printer will remember its current position in its data storage. It will lower the platform and retract filament so when the power has been restored, you can continue to print without worrying about the filament overflowing or the model becoming inaccurate.
Glass heated bed The CreatBot DE has a glass heat bed with a micro-crystalline textured finish. This improves the transfer of heat to the mounted glass top.
CreatBot Z axis engineered for rigidity The 12mm Z axis rails which the print bed slides on ensures it remains rigid. 3D Printed Owls on a CreatBot DE 3D Printer This close-up shot emphasises the print quality of this printer. The owls are made using PLA filament with 0.3mm layer thickness. Each layer is uniform and showcases the stability and accuracy of the CreatBot DE. This printer is capable of 0.04mm (40 microns). Please note there is a two-week order delay.
